INTICAHUARINA Spanish Programs include a dynamic, interesting and fun leisure agenda that is complementary to the process of learning the Spanish language. All activities are geared towards socializing in a learning environment and increasing the student's knowledge of Peruvian Culture.

We organise free leisure time activities during the week and often excursions on the weekend. All students are invited to participate!

Activities included in all Programs:

• Cusco airport pickup, transfer to accommodation.
• Walking Tour to some interesting sites in town.
• Welcome Dinner for all new students.
• Peruvian Cooking Class.
• Salsa Class.

• Farewell Gathering.
• Daily lectures on Peruvian culture and society.

Peruvian Dance

Traditional Peruvian dance is an important component of the native folklore. Try salsa and cumbia, but as well the tipical "huayno", the valls, carnaval Cusqueo, huayllas, la diablada, majeo ....... Great fun!

Peruvian Music

In this workshop we include different options: guitar, charango (Peruvian guitar), zampoa (panflute) and/or quena (flute). There is no need to have experience playing an instrument nor to be able to read music. You'll quickly learn to play a few well-know songs. This is a "must" for people who are interested in Peruvian folklore!

Peruvian Cooking

For people who want to learn more about traditional Peruvian cuisine! One free cooking class is included in the Student Activities, but there's so much more! Learn about the endless different kinds of "papas" (potatoes), about the traditional "quinoa" and the use of native herbs!

Pottery

Together with a local institution, INTICAHUARINA organises pottery workshops. For this course, students are required to sign up for a minimum of 10 hours. Students will learn different techniques and traditional Inca figures and styles.

Cultural Workshops

Our Spanish school offers the following Cultural Workshops with local teachers, that can be booked (for an additional payment) in blocks of separate hours, either during the week or in the weekend. If several students are interested in the same course, there are good discount options. A great opportunity to learn about real Peruvian traditional culture and a good complement to your Spanish Course.

• During your first week, we'll take you on a walk around the city center.
• Once a week you can participate in Salsa lessons and move your hips to actual salsa rhythm.
• Students are invited to take part in our weekly cooking classes to learn about Peruvian cuisine.
• For all those especially interested in Peruvian culture, we offer extra culture classes.
• It is possible to travel to very poor communities and get a feeling for their miserable situation.
• And, never forget: You are studying Spanish 24 hours a day, even if you are outside the classroom!
• Almost all activities are included in the course price.

INTICAHUARINA offers all kind of options for excursions, trips and hikes. We also sell bus, train tickets and air fares for affordable prices! Peru Travel Agency, the agency linked to INTICAHUARINA, organises our student's leisure time while they attend their Spanish classes, without having to worry about the price and quality in Cusco's agency jungle.

Practice Professional and Pre-Professional for the Professionals and Students of Medical Sciences

Interchips allow you to practice in your chosen medical field.

For professionals and students of medical science, you can practice in the public hospitals of Cusco in such fields as medicine, orthodontology, pharmacy, psychology and nursing.
